China has one of the richest cultures in the world. Many are who are hooked on it are taking up Chinese culture as a course. Apart from this, there are also many who are interested to learn the Chinese language because one fifth of the population use this language. To increase one's chances in landing a job in an international company, there is a need for one to study foreign language. Since China is the fastest growing economy these days and has its presence all over the world, the Chinese language seems to be the perfect choice. It also opened up to the West, thus, more companies cater to the Chinese people and communities. This means more opportunities for applicants who speak in the Chinese language.

For those who want to study in China, you must first follow the following instructions to guide yourself in the process of applying:

First, it must be clear in your mind why you want to study in China. Is it to learn the language, understand the culture, experience the education system, immersion and internship? Once you are clear with your motivations, check within yourself if you are interested in learning more of the Chinese language. If this is the case, then might as well start immersing yourself in the communities. However, you also have to be clear on what Chinese dialect you want to concentrate on. The most popular of the dialects and are used by more than half of China's population is Mandarin. Other dialects are Fookien and Cantonese and there are certain areas in China that speak only those dialects. However, Mandarin is popular even in communities from other countries so expect more people speaking in this language.

After your self-introspection, it is time to do some research on the internet. Search for the suitable Study Abroad program, the one that satisfies your academic goals. Make sure too that you are well around the budget you allot for this study program unless you will apply for a scholarship.

Once you are finished with all the other processes, it is time for you to visit your university abroad and check the place so that you would know that the pictures you found on the website speaks of the truth. Also, get an appointment with the Dean of the university. Introduce yourself and get the sense of the Dean whether he is going to be helpful in your entire stay or not. In your visit to your school before your actual transfer, make sure you have done all the inspection necessary because this will be your last time to visit it before you decide which school to enroll in.

In the end, once you have chosen your school, the school where you will be coming from must be thanked for the years of their long hardwork. They will also be the one responsible to assist you in your requirements and paperworks.
